Ed Swonger Featured at Long Island Photo Gallery
Photography was love at first sight for Ed, and it started with owning his first Kodak camera when he was 10 or 11 years old. Since then, it’s been a passionate love affair. Asked to put a label on his photographic style provigil without prescription, Ed says, “I guess a phrase like ‘serene beauty’ would describe my style. I take time to look at what’s around me and attempt to capture the innate beauty within.”

Flagler Sand Pattern #4
This photograph was taken in Flagler Beach, Florida. The sand there has unique color qualities due to the crushed shells and minerals within. On this particular day, a sand bar was created during low tide. As the tide began coming back in and water began flowing slowly over the sand bar, these amazing patterns began forming. I was thrilled by what I was seeing. It was only a few minutes, however, before more water rushed in and covered the sand bar, washing away the patterns.

Red Rock Canyon Mountains
I went with a couple friends to Las Vegas, accompanying them on a convention trip. Since I’d been to Vegas before, I decided to take a tour of Red Rock Canyon rather than run the risk of losing any more money at the casinos. I almost didn’t go because it was a chilly, cloudy day, but I finally decided to go anyway. I’m sure glad I did because soon after we arrived there, the clouds started to break. The views were astonishing. The scene in this photograph is of the mountains at the western edge of Red Rock Canyon. It reminds me of the old westerns. One can almost imagine Native Americans galloping up on horseback.

Old South Church Reflection
This photograph is a reflection of the Old South Church in the Hancock Building in Boston, MA. The usual reflection that people see here is of Trinity Church, located in front of the Hancock Building. In order to get the shot of the Old South Church, located on the west side of the Hancock Building, I had to climb up onto a window ledge of the adjacent Copley Square Hotel.
